Rare Vintage 1940's U.S. Marine Corps (U.S.M.C.) Cotton Khaki Shirt
Features a distinctive design with large pockets (18cm x 15cm) and arched flaps.

☆ This shirt is not the same as the similar-looking ARMY KHAKI SHIRTS.
This is a waffle cotton fabric (chambray) shirt, not wool, from the U.S. MARINE CORPS, and is a lighter fabric suitable for extremely hot climates.
This is a rare, one-of-a-kind item, so please be sure not to make a mistake.

* Washed once after being obtained as DEAD STOCK.

• Mint condition with no damage or repairs other than the gauze on the inspection tab. It is believed to be a rare fabric with a sheen and waffle texture compared to the usual khaki shirt (poplin) fabric.

• The pocket flaps have an arched, pointed shape, a distinctive design that has been followed since World War I, typical of the Marine Corps.

• The folded fabric inside the pockets also has a pointed shape to match the flaps, and is carefully made.

• Gussets on both side slits.

• Gauze reinforcement on the inside of the front placket.

• Buttons: ф/14mm, 4-hole, brown plastic (8 front + 2 chest + 2 sleeves) 12 total

• Front button pitch: 70mm

• Dark khaki color

• "B.H. CHEESEMAN" stamp and size (2) are written inside the collar.
